let's go fly a kite

King Arthur (2004): easily forgettable. for some reason, don't ask me why, i went through a huge king arthur phase a few years back, so i was kind of excited to see this movie. but nothing stuck me from this movie as anything you wouldn't see in every other big action flick out there. maybe it was because disney made the film. i'm also not a big fan of historical movies where we all know the ending. i don't need disney to tell me that the romans were eventually driven out of britain. but thanks for trying. i'd rather watch that pansy richard gere in first knight than see this one again, and so should you. don't see.

planning the big chambers vacation for the year. think we've decided on california for a week either in august or october. we'll have two missions while we are out there. 1. catch disneyland's 50th birthday bash, and 2. hit up as many hard rock cafes as humanly possible. that should put me over the top. weekend has been kind of up and down. not much i want to report on. i can already see now that getting back into the swing of school is not going to be easy. i've been packing in the movies lately and already drooling over sopranos season 4. might as well enjoy it while i can right? and don't even get me started on the lsat. we did get a fabulous dresser to match our bed finally. pics to follow. and speaking of pictures, i had a crisis going for the last few days because i couldn't find the cd that held nearly all the pics i took while in denver. i don't even know what i would have done had i lost that. but its been recovered so those pics are to follow as well. on to denver . . .

snowboarding part 2 turned out being pretty fun. jeramie, ryan, tom and i drove up to copper mountain and finally got there after having to wait forever to get tom's equipment in silverthorne. we met up with dustin and took to the lift. copper seemed kind of ghetto at first and was busy as hell. but we all did fairly well. to be honest, ryan hit it off pretty well for his first time. much better than i did. he was a little stubborn when it came to taking instruction, but it really paid off in the end. tom ended the day also pretty well. we all met up for some tasty grub and drinks, then jer, dust, and i went up for another run. after a nice break in some trees and like 4 feet of powder we decided to end the day. something in that mountain air makes you feel high as a kite. couldn't believe i was actually keeping up with the experts. we all parted that night and i told jer i would call him later that week, but i never did. kind of regret it now. and it was so good seeing dustin. sounds and looks as though he is doing amazing. wish i could see more of that kid.

don't think i ever mentioned how i did in school last semester. turns out i got all A's which i was so thankful for. as always, not sure if i deserved some of the grades, but whatever the teachers were smoking, i'll have what they're having.

enough for now. back to terminator 3, i mean work.
